From the south, coming up the west coast:
Take the
M6
then
M74
heading for Glasgow.
Follow the
M73
,
A80
,
M80
, and then the
M9
heading to Stirling.
When you see the picturesque Stirling Castle perched high on the hill to your right turn off at junction 10.
Take the
A84
to Lochearnhead, passing through Doune and Callander.
Turn onto the
A85
via Crianlarich. On reaching Tyndrum take the road signposted for Oban continuing on the A85 to Taynuilt.
Almost there! At the Taynuilt Hotel turn left up the Glen Lonan road and in 3/4 mile you'll see Airdeny Chalets on your right hand side.
