Ian Sinclair trained at The Glasgow School of Art. He specialises in acrylic painting, but is also known for his work with watercolours. He is best known for his landscape paintings, but takes commissions for portraits and animals. Another of his interests is cartoons and caricatures.
Ian is experienced teaching in both mediums to beginners and also the more experienced painters. His gentle manner and friendly style, love of landscape and nature makes him a popular tutor as he brings out the best from those who work with him.
Beginners
The course introduces the student to the simple rules of watercolour painting. You will learn the techniques step by step through producing your own works of art. Ian will teach and advise you personally as you progress with your paintings.
Intermediate
The course takes the student to the next level, introducing you to more advanced techniques. You will learn these techniques through the production of your own paintings, advised and taught individually by Ian.
Weather permitting you will get the chance to take advantage of the magnificent views from the chalet park to produce a painting.
